Angie Tribeca!

What a blast, this show shows what is really considered funny for Steve and Nancy Carell!
They love the word play, they love the silliness in the most daunting and depressing situations!
The amount of ridiculousness people pull while being serious is highlighted like fireworks in this series!
They take all the serious topics you could imagine a CSI-respected-series and romantic-drama-series and transfrom them in this insightful funny rediculous twist, you could hardly imagine the connection!
The amount of word play is ridiculous, every word and situation is described Literally instead of the day to day metaphoric explanation!
Examples:
For Pete's Sake......Pete is passing by and they say to him sorry Pete!
This is not clear.....an ophthalmology kit is used to clear vision by different sun glasses
etc.

I liked the pilot a lot which was directed by Steve, although it set the tone of the show, the show continued with more obvious euphemisms, his was an attack of comedy by starting Angie's day (the opening scene) which is to this moment in the show the most hilarious scene ever!
Some issues, I think, deal with the Hollywood rumours and celebrity crushes; NASA malfunctioning space ships!
And don't get me started on the Hannibal Lectur look alike Chris Pine, well I never thiught those two names could be in the same sentence!
All this which while exaggerated to the extreme are still hilarious:
*Like the head of one celebrity murdered is sold on ebay (taking into account he used a pistol blowing napkins like the one Steve used in All-Star night with Jon Stewart and also didn't work!!)
*Or the hair transplant which most celebrities are accused of (including Steve himself after the different photos of season one and two from the office!) is pulling the scalp completely and putting a new hairy one!
*Or when Angie and Geils decided to send their child to a private school because they didn't know how to deal with him!
It is our world when taking all the words we say too literally!! with silly humours on the seriousness of it
The problem is; sometimes I think I can't catch every joke on the episode, because they are so many!
May be that is why they chose to air it as marathon watch for 24 hours, to get all those jokes when rewatching!!

Steve Carell's personality

I have some glimpse of Steve's personality just from seeing him talking in interviews, and watching his movie choices, I kind of formed a vague idea of who he really is. He is a very private person, I don't think we will ever see the whole personality of Steve Carell just because he is so insanely-attractively hiding it! A loving doting father, a fascinated by his wife husband, a loyal person to his family and friends (just the close ones! Just kidding!), and a marvellous most versatile actor who can also play the Baritone Horn and Five , who could have possibly been a lawyer or a historian! What do you think of this picture, every bit of it is true, so he really is a nice person! Yes he is, but a nice person with an edge! He was very shy as a young gentleman around women and married his wife through agony-like courtship, with a lot of metaphorically asked questions: if I would go out with someone, it would be someone like you! And fortunately his wife s...

The Daily Show

The Daily Show played a very important part in shaping the Steve Carell we know, first off, he was called Steven before it and chose to shorten it to Steve after! He was shining in the Second City sketches and later in The Dana Carvey Show, but in the Daily Show he started to use the more subtle technique of comedy, where you use your poker face while saying the most absurd things you can figure, before that he used anger and increasing his voice pitch more, like in the Germans who say nice things! He started to master another form of comedy which is the self-tortured-whining in public kind, where he expresses all his vulnerability in front of a live audience! Also he tried a lot of different awkward situations each night, which resulted in a Michael Scott-ish situations! Here Michael Scott was born!!! As of acting, he acted hate, anger, love, but most of all self-ignorance or blindness to how he affects others thinking he is a genius while actually he is a buffoon!! He had...

The Office

Michael Scott is the heart and soul of the office! and that is apparent by the quick aching demise of the show after Steve Carell left the building!! In the first season, I wondered what an ugly, irritating , annoying, unfunny, egomaniac and self centred this boss is. I decided that may be this show was a mistake in the first place to watch.  Oh! I didn't watch it when it aired, just recently binge watched all the seasons, I was just searching for an old high rated TV show and this was the remaining one I had on a list after Cheers, Frasier etc. So I just regretted having all the seasons! Then after finishing season one achingly, I started season two just to test the waters, and thought if it is going the same way, then I will dump the rest of the episodes. Here when I saw the direction they took, they made Michael human!!! He is irritating and annoying because he can't understand others, he is self centred because he believes he is loved by those around him like ...
